Visual Identity Development

The Seco Point Festival project was conceived as a bold, contemporary visual identity for a music festival defined by energy, diversity, and creative expression. The main goal was to design a flexible graphic system capable of adapting across multiple formats — from posters and signage to digital and environmental applications — while maintaining strong visual coherence and a distinctive presence.

The guiding concept revolves around the intersection of rhythm, geometry, and color, symbolizing the meeting point between different musical styles, people, and experiences. This conceptual foundation shaped every design decision, from the choice of forms and typography to the color strategy and visual composition.

Graphic System, Visual Language and Illustrations

The visual system combines structured geometric elements with organic illustrations, creating a balance between precision and spontaneity. While geometric shapes — circles, lines, and modular blocks — provide rhythm and structure, the illustrations introduce warmth, storytelling, and a human connection.

Three illustrated characters play a key symbolic role in the visual language: a frog, a bee, and a beetle.

The frog represents freshness, transformation, and the vibrant natural environment that inspires the festival’s identity.

The bee, a symbol of community and collaboration, reflects the collective energy between artists, stages, and audiences.

The beetle embodies resilience and renewal, alluding to the cyclical nature of music and its power to evolve over time.

These illustrations interact seamlessly with the geometric compositions and color gradients, generating a cohesive yet dynamic aesthetic. Their flat, graphic treatment and use of saturated tones align perfectly with the overall system, giving the project both visual consistency and narrative depth.

The combination of these two layers — geometric precision and organic illustration — creates a versatile identity that feels both structured and alive, mirroring the emotional experience of a live music festival.
